J -- CONTRACTOR MAINTENANCE SUPPORT TECHNICIAN SERVICES FOR F-14 PRECISION STRIKE SOL N68335-99-C-0016 DUE 022300 POC Marybeth Kacek -- Code 25215MK -- (732) 323-2061 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to procure additional Contractor Maintenance Support (CMS) Technician services to support the F-14 PRECISION STRIKE capability by performing Intermediate-Level maintenance on the AN/AAQ-25 LANTIRN Targeting Pod and Tester under contract N68335-99-C-0016 on a sole source basis from Lockheed Martin Electronics & Missiles, Orlando, FL. These services are for the addition of a second CMS Technician for three deployments containing two F-14 Squadrons. This requirement will result in a modification to the existing contract (N68335-99-C-0016). No solicitation will be issued. Firms that can perform the required services are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
