The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Pennsylvania State Office intends to negotiate a sole source with Pennsylvania State University Land Analysis Lab for the digitization of Soil Survey Maps, according to SSURGO standards and quality control requirement procedures for Philadelphia, Carbon, Montgomery and Delaware Counties. This notice of intent is NOT a Request for Competitive Proposals. No contract award will be made on the basis of this notice. This notice does not constitute a solicitation document. Requests for such documents will not be considered. However, all information received within forty-five (45) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered SOLELY for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice soley within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information received. Services shall be completed within one (1) year after Notice to Proceed.
