APPROXIMATE SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE IS 03/01/00. -- This project is located at the Naval and Marine Corps Reserve Center, St. Paul, Minnesota. The work includes furnishing all labor, transportation, supervision, materials, tools, and other equipment for the replacing of the existing pneumatic control system with a NEW HONEYWELL EXCEL 5000 DIRECT DIGITAL CONTROL (DDC) SYSTEM and incidental related work. This project is based on 100% designed plans and specifications. -- Estimated cost range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. -- This solicitation is being issued as a SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE with a HUBZone SMALL BUSINESS EVALUATION PREFERENCE. -- The SIC code is 1711; size standard is $7.0 million; The FSC code is Z199. -- This will be a firm fixed priced contract. -- The solicitation will be formatted as a Request for Proposal (RFP) in accordance with the requirements designated by the Federal Acquisition (FAR) Part 15 for negotiated procurements utilizing Source Selection procedures of FAR 15.3.
