All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1. This proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government does not specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. Approved sources are: Kamatics Corp., Bloomfield, CT, RBC Transport Dynamics Corp., Santa Ana, CA, Sargent Controls and Aerospace, Cortaro, AZ and McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Systems, Mesa, AZ. The time required for approval of new supplies is such that award and delivery cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
