intends to procure from Raytheon Systems Company (RSA), the development
and integration of the Enhanced Target Range and Classification (ETRAC)
Capability for the Sentinel Radar System. ETRAC addresses the Sentinel
Operational Requirements Document (ORD) Performance Objectives,
detection of emerging smaller threats and targets classification needs.
ETRAC will be incorporated into the Sentinel production line without
impacting system production delivery schedules. This includes
conducting an analysis to define the Total Ownership Cost impacts based
on performance requirements and technical data for the ETRAC
capability, developing a product ready design for the ETRAC capability
including hardware and software, building a prototype of the ETRAC
capability, performing improved component/subsystem testing,
integrating the ETRAC capability into a production representative
Sentinel radar, performing system level technical testing, supporting
qualification testing, providing logistics support for the ETRAC
capability and configuring two production Sentinel Systems to support
integration and test efforts. Raytheon Systems Company, EL Segundo, CA
