Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation is being competed unrestricted. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; request for proposal (RFP) and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation (F26600-00-Q0056) is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-05. The SIC for this solicitation is 3651. The item description is as follows: Purchase and delivery the following equipment: Four (4) each, AN/PRC-117F Multiband, Multimission radio and four (4) each Satcom antenna, UHF/VHF combo antenna, VHF FM blade antenna. The AN/PRC-117F is a multiband, multimission manpack radio. It provides continuous frequency coverage from 30 to 512 MHz, while offering embedded COMSEC, SATCOM, and ECCM capabilities. The AN/PRC-117F is manufactured by Harris. Offerors will provide price quotes on the following items: Line item 0001: AN/PRC-117F Multiband, Multimission radio and Line item 0002: Satcom antenna, UHF/VHF combo antenna, VHF FM blade antenna. All prices shall be F.O.B. Destination and include a commercial warranty. All warranty information shall be submitted to the contracting office prior to award. Equipment shall be delivered to Nellis AFB, NV within thirty (30) days from receipt of award. Quotations should be firm fixed price that includes all costs necessary to purchase and deliver the equipment. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this solicitation. The clause at Far 52.212-2; Evaluation of Commercial items, applies to this solicitation. Award will be made to the responsive, responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value to the Government based on price and delivery date. Prices to the government shall be as low as or lower than those charged to the contractor's most favored customer, in addition to any discounts for prompt payment. The clause at 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Offerors who fail to submit a completed Representations and Certification may be considered non-responsive.
