Doppler/GPS Navigation Set Upgrade. This is a market survey to locate potential sources of supply to support the government's plans to award a contract for the development of specifications and Interface Control Documents (ICD's) for the GPS Receiver Application Module (GRAM) -- Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Module (SAASM). This will be a joint effort with other sources separately contracted under the Navy and the Air Force. The joint effort involves formation of the Interface Definition Working Group (IDWG) led by Honeywell, Int. The selectee will be responsible for identifying any impact that the technical documentation for GRAM-SAASM may have with the Doppler/GPS Navigation Set Upgrade (DGNSU). The Army portion of the effort is called the GRAM-SAASM Risk Reduction Demonstration Program and is a continuation of work performed under the same joint-services arrangement for development of the GRAM receiver and documentation. It is a two-phased effort. Phase I will cover a two month period and involves revisions to the SEM-E GRAM specification and ICD-GPS-155 for integration of GRAM-SAASM into the Doppler/GPS Navigation Set (DGNS). Phase II will cover an 18 month period and will involve a continuing review and update of the documentation developed in Phase I.
