66 -- TEST PROGRAM SETS (TPSS) FOR THE AVENGER WEAPON SYSTEM SOL N68335-00-R-0274 DUE 030900 POC Kathleen Kiley-DiPietro, Contract Specialist, (732) 323-5197 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate a sole source contract with the Boeing Company, St Louis Mo, under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Boeing is the designer, developer and integrator of the Avenger Weapon System. This sole source contract is for a quantity of two Test Program Sets (TPSs) for the Avenger Air Defense Weapon System AN/TWQ-1. The contract will include an option for approximately 20 production units. The TPSs will be used to fault detect/isolate and validate repair actions on approximately six Line Replaceable Units (LRUs). The Government is anticipating a Firm Fixed Price type contract.
