(925) 423-3139 Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), operated
by the University of California under contract with the U.S.
Department of Energy (DOE), is seeking one or more industrial partners
to commercialize a software package for analyzing data obtained from
high density hybridization arrays. The software suite, which is written
with C modules compiled inside of the SCIL-Image development platform,
allows interactive analysis of arrays of either radioactive- or
fluorescent-labeled probes on substrates of nylon, glass, silicon, or
other materials. Array substrates may be flexible or rigid and the
array can be of varying well formats and varying densities. The
software allows a variety of formats for spotting controls. The
software can analyze images generated with various commercial imagers.
Note: This is not a procurement. Companies interested in
commercializing LLNL's Microarray Analysis Software should provide a

corporate capability and experience relevant to commercializing the
software as well as a detailed commercialization plan. Statements of
