The Department of Veterans Affairs Maryland Health Care System (VAMHCS) is seeking contractor to provide Radiology Services to include taking x-rays, interpretation of films, and reports. Services to be provide to patients of the VAMHCS Cambridge Outpatient Clinic, 830 Chesapeake Drive, Cambridge, MD 21613. Services are to be provided at contractor facility, which must be within 30 miles of the clinic for the convenience of the VA patient. Contract to include both technical costs and professional fees. It is understood that there while there may be contractors that can do both some such as hospitals may do the technical part and depend on their affiliate for the professional services. This is fine and billing can be separate. There will be a pre-solicitation meeting to allow for discussion prior to issuing of solicitation. The pre-solicitation meeting will be held at the Cambridge Clinic at 10:00am on February 22, 2000. All prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Contract performance period will be 4/1/00 or date of award through March 31, 2001 with two one year option periods. This solicitation is to be issued on or about 2/25/00.
