W -- RENTAL AND MAINTENANCE OF ELECTRIC CLOTHES WASHERS AND DRYERS SOL N00189-00-R-0027 POC Nicole Wohl fax 757.443.1424 RFP No. N00189-00-R-0027 DESC: The Government intends to negotiate an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract with firm fixed price unit prices. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, parts, equipment, and materials necessary for lease of washers and dryers to include installation, de-installation, maintenance, repair and/or replacement, and diagnostic service calls located at various locations/sites including, but not limited to, NAS Oceana, Dam Neck, Little Creek,, Norfolk Air Station, Norfolk Naval Station, Yorktown, Cheatham Annex, and the Norfolk Naval Shipyard (Portsmouth) as required by Regional Support Services for Bachelor Housing, Norfolk. Approximate numbers of units to under this contract are estimated at: 1,400 industrial washers, 1,500 industrial dryers, 100 stackable washer/dryer sets, and 100 stackable dryer sets. Detailed specifications and delivery requirements will be specified in the solicitation. The resulting contract will be from the 1 APRIL 2000 through 31 MARCH 2001 with provisions for two one-year options. The offer is an 100% small business set-aside. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 7359. Evaluation factors will consist of the following: (1) Past Performance and (2) Price. Offerors shall describe their past performance on similar contracts held within the past three (3) years, which are of similar scope, magnitude, and complexity to that required by the solicitation, or affirmatively state that they possess no relevant, directly related, or similar past performance. The Government shall assess the risks associated with the offerors past performance and consider the number, type, and severity of any quality, delivery or cost problems in performing the contract, the corrective action taken, and the effectiveness of the corrective action.
