DESC: PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: The Iowa National Guard wishes to contract for the Replacement of the Vehicle Maintenance Facility for the Iowa Air National Guard Base located in Sioux City, Iowa. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 1542, with a size standard of $17,000,000.00. The successful contractor shall provide all materials, labor, tools, expendable equipment, utility and transportation services and all incidental items necessary to perform and complete the work required for the construction of the Vehicle Maintenance Facility. Crafts involved include, but are not limited to, the following: General, Mechanical, and Electrical. The work consists of constructing a new building for the maintenance and repair of vehicles/equipment. Also included is the construction of storm sewers, concrete roads/parking lots and some demolition of the existing Vehicle Maintenance Facility. The estimated construction period is 365 days.
