The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment,
tools, and supervision to replace all existing hot water heating system
copper tubing in the crawlspaces under sixteen (16) each housing units.
Housing units are arranged as four-plexes. There are two heating zones
per unit and all new copper tubing shall be insulated and supported.
Existing tubing may be abandoned in place. Additional requirements will
be included in the Statement of Work and drawings included with the bid
package. All work is required to be installed for a complete and usable
facility. Construction period is approximately 90 days and can only be
accomplished during the late spring or summer months. Location: U.S.
Coast Guard Integrated Support Command, Kodiak, Alaska. Estimated price
is between $25,000 and $100,000. Issue date of the bid package is on /
about February 25, 2000. The proposed contract will be awarded under
the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. All responsible
