The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE) intends to procure Composite Repair Tool Sets: P/N 3156AS100 (Or Equal). The required basic quantity is for eight (8) each (one set of the eight shall be a pre-production unit). An option for up to an additional twenty (20) of the Composite Repair Tool Sets may be exercised from date of award through one year after last basic unit delivery. Options may be exercised in whole or in quantities approximately of four (4). The Composite Repair Tool Set provides the special tools necessary for the repair and machining of advanced composite aircraft structures, including fiberglass/epoxy, graphite/epoxy, and kevlar materials for the V-22 aircraft. The special tools include those required for removing surface finish, drilling injection holes, drilling fastener holes, removing damaged honeycomb core, and routing damaged skin of composite components for installation of mechanically fastened patches. This project shall be a "brand name or equal" type procurement. The Government is anticipating a Firm Fixed Price type contract. The delivery for the pre-production unit, quantity of one (1) will be NLT 90 days after contract award. Delivery for the remaining quantity of seven (7) will be NLT 120 days after contract award. Delivery of optional units, whether in whole or in part will be NLT 90 days after each option is invoked. Delivery of all sets shall be FOB Origin. The Government intends to procure as a Small Business Set Aside. Small Business Set-Aside SIC Code 3728 is applicable. Hard copy of solicitations and amendments will NOT be mailed to contractors.
