This announcement is for information purposes only and will be made on a sole source basis by COB 2/24/00. This award is a planned solicitation under the simplified acquisition process. The Food and Drug Administration [FDA], Center for Food Safety & Applied Nurition [CFSAN] intends to award a purchase order for services to Mr. Chester J. Carter based on the Scope of Work for technical services to complete the following tasks: support gross necropsy operations onsite by collecting, preservation and recording of weight data of selected organs or tissues, perform enzymehistochemical staining on tissue from selected experimental studies, training to biological technicians in processing, entering data into computerized pathdata system, prepare tissue from selected studies for cryostat sectioning for enzyme histochemistry, & prepare reports & summary tables for inclusion in narrative report. Period of performance is one year from date of award.
