NASA/GRC plans to issue a DRAFT Request for Offer for services to operate the Health Screening, Physical Fitness, Occupational Medicine and Safety Programs at NASA Glenn Research Center, 21000 Brookpark Rd., Cleveland, Ohio, and potentially other NASA Centers. A fixed-price, commercial contract, with Best Value Selection (BVS) is anticipated. The performance period will be one year with four one-year options periods. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The SIC Code and Size Standard are 8099 and $5.0M, respectively. The DPAS Rating for this procurement is DO-C9. The provisions and clauses in the Draft RFO and model contract are those in effect through FAC 97-14. All qualified responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. The DRAFT RFO is now available on the Internet. The anticipated release date of the final RFO is the third week of March. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See Internet Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in Microsoft Office Suite (Word 6.0, Excel 5.0, PowerPoint 4.0) format and will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
