The work covered in this project consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment and materials for the construction work at McChord AFB, WA. The following items are a brief summary of the project and are provided solely for the purpose of revealing the general nature of the work involved. The Contractor is responsible for accomplishing all items of work in accordance with the applicable drawings, specifications and provisions of the contract. Upgrade interior finishes to include vinyl composition flooring with base, carpet with base, suspended acoustical ceiling tiles, cabinets and countertops. Replace selected doors and hardware. Provide two (2) windows to match existing windows, Room 121, east wall. Provide interior window with 1-way glass. Provide interior signage. Upgrade existing toilet facilities to meet ADA requirements. Provide drinking fountains to meet ADA accessibility requirements. Upgrade electricalsystems and replace light fixtures as shown. Upgrade fire detection system. Total contract performance period is 180 continuous calendar days. The proposed procurement is being issued as an unrestricted acquisition. Award will be made to the offeror who the Government determines can best accomplish the necessary work to satisfy the requirement set forth in the RFP in a manner most advantageous to the Government.
