These specifications cover the production of face and back or face only forms requiring such operations as electronic prepress, film-making, printing, binding, packing, mailing, and distribution. Production must be achieved through the printing process. Category 1 is for quantities up to 49,999 copies with approximately 819 orders and 9,000 copies per order. Category 2 is for 50,000 or more copies with approximately 81 orders and 198,000 copies average per order. Format "A" is up to 4-1/4 x 5-1/2"; Format "B" is over 4-1/4 x 5-1/2" up to 5-1/2 x 8-1/2"; Format "C" is over 5-1/2 x 8-1/2" up to 8-1/2 x 11"; Format "D" is over 8-1/2 x 11" up to 8-1/2 x 14"; and Format "E" is over 8-1/2 x 14" up to 11 x 17". Printing in one or two colors of ink will be required. No halftones. Various paper stock and construction methods will be required. Some of these include numbering, cutting, drilling, padding, folding, perforating or scoring, collating (carbonless sets). Distribution throughout the United States.
