Bureau of Indian Affairs, Turkey Ford Road, Project No.
G00-0181(1)G,S,is a proposed grade, drain, and paving project
approximately 0.31 km (0.19 mile) in length. The project consists of
grading, constructing aggregate base, asphalt paving, concrete ditch,
signing, placing sod, erosion control, and striping. The project begins
approximately 0.2 mile north of the south boundary of Ottawa County at
County Route E240, approximately 1.6 miles east of State Route 10, and
extends approximately 0.31 km (0.19 mile) north. The project begins at
the southwest corner of Section 1,T25N, R24E, of the Indian Base and
Meridian, in Ottawa County, Oklahoma, and extends northerly, along the
west side of said Section l for a distance of approximately 0.31 km
(0.19 mile). The Cost Range for this project is $100,000.00 to
$250,000.00. Request bid documents on or after February 29, 2000. The
request should be accompanied with a $50.00 (non-refundable) Cashier's
Check, Certified Check,or Money Order mmade payable to the "Bureau of
Indian Affairs", Eastern Oklahoma Regional Office, Division of
Administration-Contracts, Room 437, 101 N. 5th Street, Muskogee, OK
74401-6206. Cash, Personal, or Company Checks, are not acceptable. Bid
opening will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2000, 10:00 A.M., Local
Time at the place of bid opening, Room 410, U. S. Courthouse and
Federal Building, 101 N. 5th Street, Muskogee, OK 744010-6206. A
Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for Thursday, March 16, 2000, at 10:00
A.M., Local Time at the place of bid opening, Room 410, U. S.
Courthouse and Federal Building, Muskogee, OK 74401-6206. There will be
no other scheduled Pre-Bid Conference and all interested bidders are
strongly encouraged to attend. All responsible sources may submit an
offer. Section 7(b) of Public Law 93-638 (25 U.S.C. 450e) and 41 CCFR
14.l.354 requires preference opportunities in employment and training
