This project is for the replacement of existing rolling metal hangar doors with new vertical lifting fabric doors. The project will require the removal of the existing doors, installation of a structural steel support structure tied in with the existing building, installation of the new fabric doors, installing new stormwater drains, and all associated tasks required to perform the conversion. Construction consists of, but is not limited to, the following: civil work, concrete work, structural steel, synthetic stucco exterior wall system, EPDM roofing, metal personnel access doors, mechanical, electrical, stormwater drainage systems, drywall, insulation, and painting. The magnitude of construction is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The solicitation will be issued on February 29, 2000 with Bid opening on March 31, 2000. The construction period is 180 calendar days from date of Notice to Proceed.
