The work includes construction of seismic strengthening and renovations, including all incidental related work, for the following facilities: a. Building 1648: Construction of reinforced concrete shear walls including related removal and replacement of electrical and mechanical systems, and finishes; replacement of floor finishes throughout (except in shower); and painting of all exterior and interior surfaces throughout. b. Building 1653: Construction of reinforced concrete shear walls, including related removal of some existing walls, and related removal and replacement of electrical, lighting, and mechanical systems and finishes; replacement of some floor finishes; replacement of all exterior doors and hardware; replacement of existing roofing and flashing; replacement of all exterior windows and interior blinds; and painting of all exterior and interior surfaces throughout. c. Building 1654: Construction of reinforced concrete shear walls, including related removal of some existing walls, and related removal and replacement of electrical, lighting, and mechanical systems and finishes; removal of numerous partition walls with related removal and replacement of electrical and mechanical systems, floor and wall finishes, and relocation of doors/frames/hardware; replacement of most other floor finishes (unrelated to seismic wall or new partition construction); replacement of all exterior doors and hardware; replacement of existing roofing and flashing; replacement of all exterior windows and interior blinds; and painting of exterior and interior surfaces throughout. A Quality Control Program will be required as set forth in the Contract Specifications.
