These items are being procured to be used in the AEGIS Computer Center (ACC) at NSWCDD in the development of the current AEGIS tactical computer programs using a suite of COTS application programs that are proprietary to CenterLine Software Inc. These AEGIS tactical computer programs are maintained, updated, delivered and installed on US Navy AEGIS class Cruisers and Destroyers by NSWCDD scientist and engineers. In order to maintain compatibility with the developer and the AEGIS fleet and to provide lifecycle support of the delivered computer programs, the ACC requires proprietary COTS application programs from CenterLine Software Inc. No other vendors are known to sell a product that is compatiblewith the required CenterLine Software computer applications.
