This is a combined synopsis/sources sought solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Verbal quotes will be taken from all responsive contractors on the date of closing due to the volatility of fuel prices. This requirement is being issued as a Sources Sought Solicitation that will result in an award on the closing date. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. This action is restricted to small businesses. The following is a list of requirements: L P Gas, 60,000 gallons Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination, MCLB Albany, GA 31704 with inspection/acceptance at destination. Deliveries shall be mad during the hours of, 0800 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Delivery Best Possible, after award. FAR Clauses/Provisions: 52.203-3, Gratuities, 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be the best value to the Government.
