Q -- MOBILE MAMMOGRAPHY SERVICES SOL N00168-00-Q-B403 DUE 021800 POC Ms. Tracy Holland (301) 295-5159 The National Naval Medical Center intends to award sole sourced contract to George Washington Hospital Center for monthly mammography services. The services will be performed at the Naval Medical Clinic, located at the Marine Corps Base at Quantico, Virginia. Mammography services to include twenty one (21) examinations daily in an eight(8)hour period. Services should include radiologist reports, operators, technicians and radiologist interpretation of xrays. The Contractor shall provide a Mobile Mammography Unit (MMU) and be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the unit. The Contractor shall operate the MMU and furnish film, developing supplies, and any other medical support necessary to perform mammography services for this requirement. The MMU shall be transported and located on Government property. The MMU shall be of sufficient capacity to ensure a normal range of mammography procedures, to include radiographic procedures, operators, technicians, radiologist interpretation of x-ray, radiologists report, film, breast examinations and patient education. The Contractor is responsible for placement if the mobile facility, to include leveling and connection of all utility sources and any other steps to make the unit operational. Government personnel will be available to provide assistance in the set up process as needed. The final responsibility for the placement and set up shall remain with the Contractor. The period of performance will be from date of award through 30 September 2000. The award company must meet DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) requirement prior to receipt of this award. This acquisition is being conducted under the guidelines as set forth in the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Award will be made in the form of a government purchase order.
