Key, (970) 490-7329 The Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all the labor, materials, tools, equipment, and other resources necessary to complete this project. The work includes but is not limited to grading and clearing; removing existing fencing; furnishing and installing new fencing and a gate; furnishing materials for and installing a new ditch crossing; installing a Government-Furnished cable trench; furnishing materials for and installing a concrete foundation for a 16 foot by 30 foot Government-Furnished metal building; furnishing materials for and installing a new electrical ground mat; and installing a Government-Furnished pre-engineered metal control building. On-site superintendent must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a superintendent or foreman in high-voltage substation construction, including 1 year experience in energized substations. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be issued in hard copy FREE of charge. Note: In accordance with FAR 5.102-3, Western procurement officials will be limiting availability of this solicitation. Therefore, only a limited number of copies will be issued on a "first-come, first served" basis. Deliveries will commence 20 calendar days after notice to proceed and all work shall be completed by September 30, 2000. There will be only one award made from this solicitation. This solicitation will be issued on or about February 28, 2000 with a bid opening date on or about March 30, 2000. The estimated magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This proposed procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns (See Note #1). Offerors from concerns other than Small Businesses will not be considered.
