Delivery will be to China Lake main site or remote range sites, which can be as far as 100 miles from the main gate at China Lake, CA. There is no availability of fuel or water on roads to many of these remote sites. Many roads are dirt, single lane, curved and steep. Batch plant must be located within five (5) miles of highway 178 and China Lake Blvd., (Ridgecrest/China Lake/Inyokern metro areas) for Government pickup of product. The Government will place oral orders and / or written orders not later than the day prior to the required delivery for deliveries during normal workdays. Weekend, Holiday and Emergency order provisions will be included in the contract. The Government will accomplish all forming, rebar work and site preparation. NAWCWD China Lake, CA is located in a remote area approximately 150 miles northeast of Los Angeles, 90 miles east of Bakersfield, and 150 miles south of Mammoth Mountain. Additional information will be provided in the Statement of Work, which will be available with the RFQ. The proposed contract will have a base period of eighteen (18) months and three (3) one-year options, plus one six month option, Total contract not to exceed five (5) years. The award will be made using FAR Part 12, Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items.
