US Army CECOM intends to negotiate with Bren-Tronics Inc. of Commack,NY on a sole source basis for a modification to Indefinite Delivery Contract DAAB07-95-D-G323 to include two new battery charging adapters for the Universal Charger PP-8444 as follows: 1) Soldier Intercom Battery Adapter, No NSN. A quantity of 100 each will be guaranteed with a maximum orderable quantity of 600 each. Initial lot testing will be required. 2)Multi-stationed Battery Charging Adapter, J-6518/U, NSN 5940-01-467-1176, for the PP-8444A/U,the PP-8444/U and PP-8448/U, capable of charging or discharging eight batteries over approximately an eight hour period. A quantity of 500 each will be guaranteed with a maximum orderable quantity of 1000 each. Deliveries will be fob origin to locations to be determined at monthly quantities to be negotiated. The Government does not possess the technical data (drawings or specifications) completely defining the form, fit and function of the items being procured. In addition the form, fit andfunction is not defined in any nationally recognized industry standard or specification. See Note 22.
