Manufacturers are required to warrant that the MIL-STD Governor Control Unit, Electrical will be a suitable replacement when used for the purpose intended by the Army. The response must include documentation such as drawings or other technical information demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, manufacture a Governor Control Unit, Electrical that will be physically and functionally interchangeable as the Governor Control Unit, Electrical being used on the existing MIL-STD family of Department of defense Generator Sets. In addition it is requested that the potential manufacturers provide this office with a time frame as to when a quantity of 19ea. will be available to the field units after a contract award is made.
