The solicitation number for this Request for Quotation is RFQ-797-FDF2-00-0050. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-14. This solicitation is 100% set aside for Small Business. This solicitation is issued on a restricted basis as a total small business set aside under Standard Industrial Code 3829, with a size standard of 500 employees. This equipment shall be Y2K compliant. Place of delivery is to Travis Air Force Base. Delivery, which shall be FOB DESTINATION, shall occur 30 calendar days after award of the purchase order. Offerors responding to this announcement shall provide all information contained in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror -- Commercial Items. As stated in this clause, the Government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions with offerors. Therefore, the offeror's initial offer should contain the offeror's best terms from a price and technical standpoint. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussion if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary.
