The government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). 45 CONS, Patrick AFB, FL, has a requirement for the following item: Phase Matrix, Inc., Model 585C, Automatic, RF Pulse/CW Microwave Counter, 100Hz to 20GHz, including 200W burn-out protection with Option 5803, Rear Input 585C/588C, Option 5809, 5 X 10-10 Oven Oscillator, Accessory 021, Rack Mount Kit with Handles, Accessory 032, Maintenance and Service Manual (includes operation information), and Special YC-22, BCD Output or equal. This is the replacement for the existing radar equipment, EIP Model 451 RF Pulse Counter with Rear Input, BCD Output Interface, Rack Mount, and High Stability Oscillator options and accessories. The replacement pulse counter must physically fit in the 3.5_ X 16.75_ rack mounted hole in the radar with a BCD output interface, rear RF inputs and meet the configuration design of the existing equipment. Potential suppliers will be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactory perform when used for the purpose intended. The government intends to purchase eighteen (18) each to support requirements to sustain the Eastern Test Range radar sites.
