This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation N68936-00-R-0041 is being issued as a request for proposal. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. The solicitation is 100% set-aside for small businesses; the associated standard industrial classification code (SIC) is 3356 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. Two line items are being solicited. Line item 0001 is for seven (7) tungsten round forward ballast inserts in accordance with Specification MIL-T-21014D and in accordance with notes and sizes on drawing 3123AS2414. Line item 0002 is for fourteen (14) tungsten round main ballast inserts in accordance with Specification MIL-T-21014D and in accordance with notes and sizes on drawing 3123AS2415. Offerors must have drawings in order to propose. Delivery and acceptance of the items will be F.O.B. destination to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA 93555-6100. Delivery is required on or before 1 August 00.
