Physicians who are not board eligible may be considered if less than two years has passed since the completion of their residency training program. Approval to this exception is at the discretion of the VA. Physician will be required to provide services during normal administrative hours. Physician shall also be required to provided on-call services during selected evenings and weekends. The contract will be for a base period of two (2) months with one option period of two (2) months.
