SOLICITATION Plans and Specifications for solicitation N68711-00-B-8706 will be issued on or about 25 FEBRUARY 2000 over the Internet at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil as an Electronic Bid Solicitation (EBS). The response time required by FAR 5.203 would begin on the date of issuance of the EBS solicitation. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This is a Firm Fixed-Price Contract. REPAIR BY REPLACEMENT HVAC CHILLER. The work includes furnishing all labor, supervision, materials and equipment necessary to replace existing CFC McQuay 120 Ton Chiller located at Hangar 3 Blue Addition with a new chiller. Existing condensate and chilled water pumps shall remain. SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS OR CONDITIONS: Work is at the airfield security clearance is required. Foreign Object Damage (FOD) restrictions and appliance applies. Performance time is 120 calendar days. The tentative issue date is on or about 25 FEBRUARY 2000 with the bid opening date approximately 30 days later. The SIC code is 1711. The related small business standard is 7.0 million. The cost range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Bidders should request this specification by 27 MARCH 2000 by Internet access at the above WEB Address.
