The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center- Puget Sound intends to solicit quotes for a dust collector system, quantity 4 each. The system shall be suitable for removing and collecting airborne dust and smoke products in a moderately loaded exhaust stream from metal cutting torch operations. The dust collector shall be a continuous duty pulse-jet cleaned, cartridge style unit. Capacity shall be 50,000 SCFM (minimum), with a nominal air-to-cloth ratio of 2.3 fpm/sq.ft. The dust collector system shall consist of a dust collector and hopper(s) with support legs, a unitary base mounted blower and motor assembly with an internal inlet vane damper, and an electrical control panel. The government will install the dust collector system. The government requires product manuals (quantity 3 each), PCB certification, and a statement of OSHA compliance. The dust collector systems must be delivered FOB destination to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA by May 29, 2000. These materials will be procured using FAR parts 12 and 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures) and will be solicited full and open. The solicitation will be issued on or about February 25, 2000 and close on or about March 15, 2000. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by FISC Puget Sound.
