This sources sought announcement is issued for the purpose of identifying sources for procurement of 24 KIV-7HS Data Encryption Devices. The KIV-7HS is a compact, economical, high performance and user-friendly COMSEC device specifically designed for use with PCs. The KIV-7HS provides encryption for the protection of classified and sensitive digital Type 1 data transmissions at rates of up to 1.54 Mbps and is ideal for compliance with NACSI 6002 and DoD Instruction 5210.74. The KIV-7HS is compatible with government standard KG-84, KG-84A and KG-84C data encryption equipment in both secure and over-the-air rekey (OTAR) modes. The KIV-7HS is encased within a standard half-height disk-drive configuration which is ideal for desktop, embedded or rack type installations. The KIV-7HS has EIA-530 and RS-232 data interfaces to simplify system integration. Due to its small size, low cost, and high reliability, the KIV-7HS is ideal for mobile environments.
