This work consists of, but not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials, supervision and equipment necessary to replicate an existing historic 28 " bookcase light fixture housing and fit it with a compact fluorescent lamp, electronic ballast, parabolic reflector, and frame to hold light blocking screens and louver. The bidder shall produce 96 copies and deliver the units to the Main Justice Building located @ 950 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC, 20530-0001. This work requires the highest level of quality for technical expertise in replicating historic light fixtures. Bidders are required to submit a description of at least two previous projects in the Washington, DC metro area which were a minimum of $25,000 for replicating historic light fixtures in commercial or government buildings at least 50 years old. References are required from each bidder. A contract will be awarded to the bidder whose offer is determined to be the most advantageous to the Government. Price and other award factors such as past performance will be considered. The work must be completed by May 1, 2000.
