The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and will award the purchase order on a sole source basis with Rotating Precision Mechanisms, 8760 Shirley Ave., Northridge, CA 91324-3409 for the part numbers listed below, under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. Rotating Precision Mechanisms is the sole manufacturer of equipment required to meet the Government's minimum requirements. This equipment is intended as a replacement for the AN/UPA-57 antenna pedestal group. The pedestal is used to simulate fleet requirements for test and evaluation efforts, and as a training tool for Navy technicians. The contract line item number and description is: CLIN 0001 -- Part Number RG-0512, AZ Rotator (Slave or Independent), (Qty 1 EA); CLIN 0002 -- Part Number CA-1004, Controller for 19" Rack Chassis, (Qty 1 EA); CLIN 0003 -- Cable Assembly 300 feet, (Qty 1 EA).
