NASA/SSC plans to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for four (4) each, Omni Technologies, Inc. 19" Rack-Mount 10-Card Interface Rack, P/N FOTR-125-19RD; twenty (20) each, Fiber Optic Taxi Interface Card, P/N FOTR-125-BP; twenty (20) each, Blank Panels for 19" Rack-Mount 10-Card Interface Rack, P/N FOTR-125-BP; five (5) each, Serial Racal Taxi Input to Parallel Output Converter Module, P/N TAXIRX-125AR; and five (5) each, 2-Slot FacePlate and Mounting Hardware for Serial Racal Taxi Input, P/N FOTR-TAXIRX-FP. NASA/SSC intends to purchase the items from Omni Technologies, Inc. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to include: descriptive literature of the offered equipment, unit and total price, warranty, business size, invoice terms, FOB Point, Taxpayer ID Number and Cage Code in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time 15 days after posting of this synopsis. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
