SEARCH FOR INTERESTED PARTIES AND REQUEST FOR INFORMATION: Rock Island Arsenal (RIA) in Rock Island, Illinois is a Department of Defense general purpose metal manufacturing facility. The Arsenal's production capability includes: forging, casting, precision and heavy metal cutting, plating, molding of rubber and plastic items, and systems integration and simulated testing of weapon systems under one roof. Highly sophisticated computer networks as well as skilled engineers; technicians, trade and craft personnel operate all facets of this industrial complex. The real estate assets of Rock Island Arsenal include: 1.7M sq. ft. of Administrative Space, 1.9M sq. ft of Manufacturing Space, 1.9M sq. ft. of Indoor Storage Space, which includes 771,000 square feet under one roof. In addition there is 1.2M sq. ft. of Outdoor Storage Space. The Rock Island Arsenal is seeking industry partners to meet the following objectives: a. Use available Rock Island Arsenal assets to manufacture or provide services in supportof government contracts. b. Maintain and/or upgrade facilities used in support of government contracts in accordance and to the extent allowed by government regulations and applicable laws.
