Kruskie, 570-547-1641, Extension 542 Professional Architect-Engineering services are required to provide design and construction administration services for Lead Abatement and Painting of the Elevated Water Tank at the Federal Correctional Institution, Loretto, PA. The anticipated performance period for this contract is 360 calendar days and consists of Four Phases. The four phases are Pre-Design/Schematic, Contract Documents, Bidding Services, and Construction Administration Services. The evaluation criteria for selection and contract award, in descending order of importance, are as follows, (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; (2) Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required, including where appropriate, energy conservation, pollution prevention, waste reduction, and the use of recovered materials; (3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; (4) Past Performance on contracts with government agencies and private industry in terms of costcontrol, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules; (5) Location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project; and (6) Acceptability under other appropriate evaluation criteria. Only those firms located in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania with the capability to perform the services described herein, are requested to submit appropriate data by 4:00PM Monday, March 20, 2000. Applicant responses to the aforementioned evaluation criteria shall use the SF-254 and SF-255, which will form the basis of the initial evaluation of qualifications. The data submitted shall be concise and must address all specific categories listed in the evaluation criteria. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 8712, with a size standard of $2,500,000.00. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns.
