The solicitation can be viewed at the following web site that is off the IOC Home Page: The U.S. Army Industrial Operations Command (HQ, IOC) intends to issue solicitation DAAA09-00-R-5042 for Cellular Telephone Services at Pine Bluff Arsenal (PBA), Pine Bluff, Arkansas. This solicitation will be published on the Internet. The solicitation can be viewed at the following web site that is off the IOC Home Page: http://www.ioc.army.mil/ac/aais/ioc/. The approximate date of issue is 18 Feb 2000 with the opening 21 days from issue. These services are to include providing Corporate 100 plan access for up to 80 lines of cellular telephone service. The vendor is to identify any estimated usage and roamer charges for peak and off-peak times for up to 80 lines of service. These lines must be capable of coverage in all Jefferson, Arkansas, Pulaski, Saline, Garland, Hot Springs, and Faulkner counties. Coverage should include Rison in Cleveland County, Star City in Lincoln County and Sheridan in Grant County.The vendor will be required to provide on an as required basis trouble shooting any cellular telephone problems, furnish loaner cellular telephones as required, and program cellular telephones as required. Due to the requirements of this service, this solicitation will be limited to local contractors within a 50-mile radius of Pine Bluff Arsenal. This solicitation will be for one base year and four option years. The proposed solicitation is full and open. The proposed contract will be firm-fixed price. Interested contractors are to provide their Commercial and Government and Entity Code (CAGE) and/or Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN). All contractors who provide goods and services to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to be awarded DOD contracts.
