STATEMENT OF WORK Resurface Maxwell Auto Hobby Shop Facility Floor (8900 sq. ft) No. F73SRR00121200 Work To Be Performed: To insure the proper adhesion, absorption, and correct amount of materials, the figure of 8900 square feet has been used to represent the preparation and sealing of the total shop work area. the side rear steps and landings, the hall traffic area, and the welding shop. All previous and various coatings, safety line striping, paints, tars, rubber deposits, and films will be removed as much as possible. This will be followed by a thorough cleaning with chemicals especially produced to be effective and compatible with existing oil-water separators. To further prep the concrete flooring it will be acid etched and neutralized. A two-part epoxy primer undercoat will then be applied to the surface, and allowed to dry, and produce firm under support system for the sealer. The sealer will consist of two coats of the highest-grade gray pigmented polyurethane. Contractor will them apply safetyyellow pigmented striping using the highest-grade polyurethane striping. Contractor will provide instructions and recommendations on maintenance and preventative upkeep. All products and chemicals mentioned above have previously been cleared and approved by Maxwell Hazmat, and all products are environmentally "green".
