The United States Marshals Service is seeking to identify potential commercial sources to provide secured storage facility and auctioneer services for seized and forfeited property, i.e., jewelry, diamonds, watches, loose stones, gems, collector coins/currency, paintings, fine art, sculpture, collectibles, antiques, including antique vehicles. The storage space is to meet the industry, which provide security, damage-free storage and protection against deterioration of property. This is a SOURCES Sought Announcement Only. Potential sources are invited to submit IN WRITING; information detailing possible methods of storing and disposing of seized and forfeited property in the Washington D.C. Metro Area. Responses shall 1) Indicate whether the business is a large or small business. The SIC Code for this requirement is 8999 and the size standard is 5 million dollars; 2)Identify if this requirement is customarily available in the commercial marketplace. 3) Identify laws and regulation unique to this requirement; 4)Are there discounts, which are offered to the general public, 5) Describe how storage and auctioning services are priced.
