The WJBD Veterans Affairs Medical Center has a need for a part-time Board Certified or have completed formal training and be in the certification process; Otolaryngologist/ENT services. The contract will be for a base-year plus one (1) option year. The contracted services will require coverage of an outpatient clinic one (1) day every other week, coverage of operating room one (1) day every other week, ward care which includes: pre-operative, peri-operative, and post-operative services. Contractor will also provide teaching/rounds/case conferences, medical record documentation of resident supervision (approximate number of hours is one to two every two weeks). The attending physician will be required to come to the medical center every day to make rounds on patients, post surgery until the patient is discharged or transferred to the care of another provider. The contractor employee (s) will be on call 24 hours a day, seven days per week. This solicitation is full and open competition. The small business size standard is $5 million dollars.
