The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) through the Program Support Center, General Acquisitions Branch, intends to award a 12 month sole source Simplified Acquisition to the John F. Kennedy School of Government in Cambridge, Massachusetts, to provide Executive Leadership Training Services for State Mental Health Commissioners. A training curricula shall be offered at the twice a year meetings of the National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors (NASMHPD) that improves the managerial and program competence of State Mental Health Commissioners and senior managers. This shall include guest lecturers, case studies panel discussions and presentations on current management and leadership issues of interest to Commissioners. Case studies and other written materials to benefit new and current State Commissioners and Program Directors shall be developed and distributed at the meetings. All logistics (travel, hotel, per diem, meeting rooms) shall be provided by the John F. Kennedy School of Government. The anticipated award date is March 6, 2000. No solicitation shall be issued.
