All work is to be completed within 60 calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Magnitude of project is between $25,000 and $100,000. A site visit is scheduled for March 8, 2000, 10:00 a.m., meeting in front of Building 1050, 10300 Baltimore Avenue, Beltsville, MD. The standard industrial classifications (SIC) code is 1542 and the annual size standard is $17.0 million. This acquisition will be procured as unrestricted, under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ), using procedures from FAR Part 13 -- Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about March 1, 2000. There are a reasonable number of copies of the solicitation available on a first-come-first-served basis.
