The Government intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price Type Contract. The
quantity is 288 each. With First Article delivery is 288 each 413 days
after contract award. First Article Test Report is 318 DACA. Without
First Article delivery is 288 each due 330 DACA. Applicable to UH-1 Air
Frame Unit. FOB Origin to Texarkana, TX, Stockton, CA and New
Cumberland, PA. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in
order to be eligible for award of this Flight Safety Part, Engineering
Testing Item. Justification for other than full and open competition
is FAR 6.302-1. This proposed contract action is for supplies for which
the Government does not have specifications and drawings to permit full
and open competition. Approved sources are Kaiser Aerospace and
Electronics, Charlotte, NC and Bell Helicopter Textron Inc., Hurst, TX.
The time required for approval of new sources is such that award and
delivery cannot be delayedpending approval of a new source. Firms are
encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future
solicitations by accessing the website {HYPERLINK

information. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall
be considered by the agency. This requirement is currently unfunded.
