Telescopic Boom Excavator. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for
commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart
12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this
notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are
being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This
solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation No. DAKF48-00-Q-0050.
The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are
those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-3. The Standard
Industrial Classification is 3531 and the Small Business Size Standard
is 750 employees. The solicitation is issued unrestricted. The
solicitation is to purchase 1 each Gradall XL4100, 6X4 Truck Mounted
Hydraulic Telescopic Boom Excavator, or equal, in accordance with
specifications provided. The excavator is to be delivered by 17 April
2000, FOB destination to Fort Hood, Texas. CLIN 0001 -- 1 each
Excavator, Gradall, XL4100,6X4 truck mounted hydraulic telescopic boom
or equal. Offerors shall clearly state: Manufacturer's Name, Brand,
Model or Part No. SPECIFICATIONS: The Gradall XL400 Excavator 6X4 truck
mounted hydraulic telescopic boom or equal shall be equipped with the

applies to this acquisition with the following addenda: (I) is changed
to add that the Government's preferred method of payment for all
service/supply contracts is the Government Credit Card. Invoices shall
be submitted to the III Corps & Fort Hood Contracting Command, ATTN:
Contract Administration Division, Fort Hood, Texas 76544-5025 upon
final shipment of excavator to Fort Hood, Texas. If the contractor does
not accept the Government credit card, they must accept payment by
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) from the servicing OPLOC Finance
