The U.S. Army Soldier and Biological Chemical Command (SBCCOM), AMC Acquisition Center, intends to issue a noncompetitive Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) modification to contract DAAM01-97-D-0013 with Applied Research & Associates (ARA) to increase the contract's maximum quantity from a cumulative total of 105,000 direct labor hours to 145,500 direct labor hours. The existing contract is an indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery type contract, which provides for CPFF completion form task orders in support of Joint Technical Coordinating Group for Munitions Effectiveness (JTCG/ME) headquartered in the Army Materiel Systems Analysis (AMSAA). Award of the modification is projected for the 2nd Quarter of FY00. A follow-on contract package is being prepared and it is estimated that a solicitation will be released in the 3rd Quarter of FY 00 with an award on or before the 1st Quarter 01.
