Commerce/NOAA/NOR/Office of Global Programs intends to negotiate on a
sole source basis with American Meteorological Society to provide
funding for AMS Student Fellowship Program. This is a partnership with
Government and Industry and is available to students entering their
first year of graduate school and are intended to permit maximum formal
participation during the year. This fellowship program will help ensure
that outstanding young scientists enter the fields of atmospheric,
oceanic and hydrologic sciences to meet the problems of the coming
decade. This is a notice of intent and cannot be considered a
solicitation, therefore no solicitation package exist. Award will be
made using Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. Reference 0A-3075.
